Back in June I taught a class in making Quilt As You Go Potholders. (I wrote up and shared a Quilt As You Go Potholder Tutorial at the time.) At the actual class, I used some scrap strips I had laying around from making a quilt for my daughter’s bed, that were all too narrow to go in my 2.5" strip bin, to make my demo potholders. I finished one last month, for myself.
Right after the class, I had some more strips, so I started another set. I had them all quilted, but never got around to binding them. On Friday, I wanted to get some work done in my studio, but realized that what I really needed to do was clean up a lot, and get stuff put away, so I’d have the space to work on new projects. In my rather successful clean, I found the unfinished set, and finally added binding and loops. Done!
