First jacket: made for my oldest sister, whose favorite colors are dirt and depression. All joking aside, our tastes are polar opposite. I like bright, vibrant colors and jewel tones. I wasn’t thrilled to craft earth tones for her, but I eventually grew to tolerate and even enjoy making this jacket. I forgot to take photos and the ones my sister took aren’t the greatest quality. However, I think you can still get the gist of the jacket.
Second jacket: My younger sister wanted something more distressed and less linear. This was so fun and satisfying! The colors were my jam. It also didn’t hurt that this was a much quicker project than the first one.
Those look so cool! You can tell how much work went into them!

I love your scrappy jackets. No two ever could be alike…not a fan of the duller colors, but you sure did a beautiful job! It looks like it will be very wearable!
A group portrait sounds like a great idea! I would have to make a jacket for my third sister first. She hasn’t asked, but I will offer her one once I finish a few other projects. I am also working on a denim vest for mom. A photo of all five of us would be so fantastic! 🩷🩷🩷
All together would be epic! I love the selvage part of the first one, but the tiny little details of the second are pulling me towards it. Both are absolutely gorgeous.
