Use it or lose it! A sharing and caring gift-along

Any particular genre or theme? I think that is great for her to get into something fun and imaginative!

Hi! I got her to send me a couple images of the flavour she’s into right now, super cute!

She’d be thrilled with any adorable little thing that can easily fit in a card so it’s only a stamp to send it, the cost of packages has gone bananas lately!

Thanks! I’ve got some I think she will like!

I’ll look through my stash; I bet I have stuff that will more or less fit this vibe.

Both patterns have been claimed.

If noone with a current need for them wants the cloth diaper patterns, I will take them for sewing for my possible future grandkids. But please put someone else before me if their usefulness is more immediate.

I def have stickers I can send! I used to send to bluebird, so this is nice in a circular way of life way.

I’d be happy to send them to you! Should I use the address I have from the galentine’s swap?

I bought a bunch of kits from DMC in a closeout sale. These are kids hats with little animals that you can attach. They are meant to be knitted so there is probably only enough yarn for knitting and not crochet, unless you make a much smaller size or add your own yarn.

I’d be happy to pop them in the mail if anyone wants one (or more). USA only due to costs.
There are two ladybugs and two goldfish; one snowman; one zebra; one bumblebee and one butterfly.

I also have one blanket kit. It can be crochet or knit and patterns for both are included. It comes with a cute stuffed animal. I have made three and just don’t want or need another.

If there are no other takers, I would like one goldfish and the bumblebee. Ada loves her handmade hats, but also loses them, so I need to make a few more. (And because she is three, she wants to know why the goldfish and bee aren’t pink. :joy:)

I just read the instructions again and they say that they have provided enough yarn for a toddler or an adult small. I think there is enough to do a toddler crochet if the pattern is simple.

I know kids lose hats, gloves and scarves so it is a good idea to have several on hand.

Could you measure around Ada’s head? I know I made one of these but I am not sure what size I made. It might fit her or it might be baby size. I’ll send you the kits.

I just measured her. Somewhere between 19 3/8" - 19 1/2". She was having a hard time holding still.

OK…these will fit her. The toddler stretches to over 22". I had about a baseball sized yarn ball left over so crochet will work. They are cute but I don’t have anymore little kids in my circle of family and friends. I’ll pop them in the mail tomorrow.

You’re welcome! The postcard I got from someone here; I want to say it’s one of the many cool ones @jemimah has sent me over the years, but I can’t swear to it.
