I love the Use What You Have swap and the challenge of figuring out what can be made with stash items only. In addition, I bet a lot of crafters will receive some new supplies for Christmas. Would anyone be up for another round in January?
I always love this one…way more challenging than it sounds!
I’m always down for some stash crafting!
I can always use up more stash. DH got me a new sewing machine for Christmas/our anniversary(yesterday).
I totally forgot about this swap, but I still want to do it. Anyone up for a round starting soon? Signups from June 15 - 25 with partners on the 26th?
Possibly…things are busy this time of year, but with a sufficient crafting period I could prob swing it.
I’m on semi-swap hiatus right now b/c of other stuff going on (I mean, besides running the ATCs…) so maybe next time.
I was thinking of reviving this idea since there was interest but the timeframe wasn’t good for many before.
I will be hosting signups from August 10 - August 24 with send outs due September 24, 2022.
Considering the new swap size regulations, this one will be for 1 medium PLUS 1 small OR 2 extra-smalls:
Extra Small – 1+ hours – ATC, bookmark, vinyl decal, fridge magnet, stickers, masterboards, earrings.
Small – 2+ hours – pouches, ATC trios, TM patch, small artwork, dishcloth, set of 4 notecards, simple necklace.
Medium – 3+ hours – small amigurumi (6” or less), tote bags, basic scarf, hooplas (outline or felt), earring & necklace set.
It should be a fun and simple one with the only cost being postage. Participants in this swap will create swap items from craft supplies already in their craft stash!
