I made this simple mug rug for my Vintage Halloween Swap buddy. I surface stitched (??) around some of the images with gold thread to make it fancier. First ever, I’m super new at sewing!

I put my tea on it in the morning and he ever so slightly moves my tea and puts down his coffee.

LOL…aww. Well now I know if I ever swap mug rugs again, I should include an extra for a spouse/roommate.
