UPDATE: The bags were very graciously received. Everyone was impressed and thankful and thought it was totally neat to turn Grams’s table linens into something new! Her daughters (my MIL and her sister) thought that their mom would’ve loved them. I gave them on the first day we were all together and then later a few of us used them as beach bags! A few others were too precious about them to take them to the beach.

What a great way to use that fabric! Instead of putting the set in a cupboard, never to be seen again, it can now be enjoyed on a day-to-day basis by the whole family.

I just knew they would be appreciated! Yes, they should be used in memory of your Grams…she would be happy to know the tablecloth was given new life!
