This little guy was made for @AuFish in the ongoing ornament swap. I painted him on watercolor paper then glued that to a painted wood circle and added some fun ribbon to finish it off. I sealed the painting with matte varnish which made the lines less crisp so I’ll need to experiment with a better sealer.

It’s SO cute! The little fish has such personality…
Although I did not see what it looked like before you added the sealer, I don’t notice or mind that the lines aren’t “crisp”. Underwater, I wouldn’t expect edges to be sharp and defined, anyway. So maybe that actually adds to the design/effect.
