I’m a human person, neither an actual garden gnome nor an actual spy. Sorry for any disappointment regarding the implications of my handle. I just like 'em- both gnomes and humans. I have strong opinions about who matters (everyone) and why (for existing).
I sew: clothing, curtains, underpinnings, upholstery and quilts. I’m learning quilting (as in the topstitching bit, I like the putting it together part but I feel like a total newb in the actual quilting bit of quilting.) I do draw people, um… like his French girls… so I don’t think you’ll see many of my sketches on here.
I also do home renovation, papercrafts and costumes (in a sculptural & armature sense), I weld, very much also in a sculptural sense. I garden a lot, which is honestly as much a meditation on living as much as an excuse for both fresh food, pretty flowers and garden gnome spying.
I enjoy cooking as an act of love, but am frequently dragged down by the need to eat several times EVERY DAY.
