I’ve spent thirty-odd years working as a prop builder for a large opera company. It’s the perfect career for someone with an attention span as short as mine, and given my eccentric set of skills - from woodworking to mold-making to graphic design - it may be the only job for which I’m qualified. Being part of a supportive and always amazing online community of craft artists for the past decade has allowed me to expand in creative directions that I would never have imagined, and met people whose imagination and brilliance never fails to astonish me. I love being surprised.
