2024 Charity Hats

I forgot to post my completed hats from 2024. I have 41 to add to my donation bag. Not quite the 50+ I had hoped to complete (a couple went to my husband), but closer to my target than 2023. I de-stashed more than 6400 yards of yarn. I didn’t have a yardage amount for some of them because the skeins had no identification.

I think all the patterns are free on yarnspirations.com.

Great job, that’s 41 warm heads (42, counting the ones that went to your husband)!
I love the colors and the variety.

Thanks so much. I like taking them to our local assisted living facilities. I see the residents walking to the stores all the time. Hoping one day I will recognize one of my hats being worn.

Thanks so much. There are years where I have made around 60. This year should be more productive since I extricated myself from a life/brain sucking activity that I was too involved in.

Believe me, hats are truly appreciated even if you don’t ever get to see them worn…the hats my knitting guild donated went to those in need in Asheville. Just knowing that some people would at least have a bit of warmth was enough to keep me making hats for donations as well.

Lovely hats and so many! Well done…and glad your husband even got a new hat!

My favorite are the pink ones…I love that pattern!

Thank you. I try to find new patterns periodically so they don’t all look the same. My husband is bald, so he always loves a knit hat during the cold months.
