Your cards are so special. Bet people keep them forever. I am partial to the candle.

The cards are unique and well done! I also love the mountain scene through the window.
How long does it generally take to make a card? Do you cut everything first and then assemble them or do you do one card at a time? There are just so many details and layers. The cut out holly leaves are gorgeous and must have taken forever!
@endymion I know that a few people do keep my cards (or all cards!), but I have worked to accept that once they leave me, their fate is out of my hands and they may be tossed. I do, however, usually only send handmade cards to people who display their cards for a while.
@AIMR Most of them take at least 2 hours, sometimes 4-5, maybe. Often a good chunk of that time is finding the right papers. Unless I’m doing more than 1 that are close to the same, I make them one at a time. With all the layers, I don’t think my brain could keep track of more than one! The holly leaves are actually just 2 pieces! One die, two different shades of green.

Horrors at the thought of any of your cards being tossed!! I still have the lovely house card you made for me years ago!
You do choose some lovely papers. The paper you used for the candle card looks like it could be wooden wall paneling and the background paper behind the mountains really do look like shining stars. It is these kinds of details that make these very special. I love seeing them!
Aww, that’s so nice to hear! And thank you for complimenting my paper choices! The person receiving the candle one lives in a cabin with lots of wood paneling, so I tried to get close by using an XL wood board embossing folder.
You have such attention to detail going on with these cards (but then-you usually do!!) and I’m sure that some people in your world hoard these like gold.
