2025 DeStash-Along

I finished my first Musselburgh hat, that I started a while ago. It’s made from some of the scraps of the Snowman Christmas sweater.

I like it, but Mr. Imma doesn’t  He wears a storebought black beanie all the time and he says this one is uncomfortable. It’s not, so I’ll keep it. The yarn is really soft, and I like that there are two ways (or really four) to wear them. The grey/brown bit is supposed to be the inside but I actually like that side more than I thought I would. The pattern is well-written and easy to follow, although probably not for a novice knitter. There’s a great knitalong video from the designer on YouTube though. I have long hair and I like that the hat is big enough for a ponytail or bun. The yarn (Drops Air) is maybe not ideal for the hat. It’s super soft but also really, really stretchy. I made the smallest adult size, and I don’t have a small head, but it’s still on the big side for me.
