I FINALLY finished this dog cushion cover that I’ve been dreading for a couple of months.
It feels silly to say I was dreading it, but I don’t have a lot of room to sew something this size, and it was a lot of sweat and swearing, and moving the dog out of the way to get this done. It only took me about an hour too but sheesh.
I made it like an envelope pillow case style, since my pup likes to try to dig at her cushions and i figured having the main seam hidden in the back would be best. Now it’ll go on her dog bench seat in the car so she can sit comfortably (still doesn’t travel that well, but we’re doing the best we can).
I used up that patterned canvas fabric that’s been in my stash for a few years, and thrifted some curtain fabric to supplement for the wrap around to overlap in the back. So glad this is off my to-do list.
