Today, I finally paired up the scrubby and soft washcloths, counted them and the hats, and took my pictures. All was made from stash. Including the cloth ribbon used to tie the pairs of washcloths.
Thanks @wittychild@TheMistressT@wittychild . I had a lot of time this year where I was sitting at medical facilities with my MIL in 2025. I’m a fidgety person, so I have to be doing something while there. These are all portable projects.
Thanks everyone for all the good feels. I know it must seem like a lot, but I’m retired, so I have more time than the average person to work on stuff. And crafting is my way of avoiding doing the other stuff I don’t want to do.
ETA: and I have no children, just dogs.
I hope so too. I keep looking when I drive in my neighborhood to see if I spot one of them out in the wild. I take them to senior/assisted living buildings near me.

I donate my hats to a mission that helps unhoused people. I often spot my hats when I am driving downtown. I also carry hats in my car, and if it is safe, I will stop and give one to someone on the street.
Recently, my brother has been taking my hats to work. He is a truck driver and sees all sorts of people at various truck stops and locations. He has given out hats to men and women but said I needed to make some children hats and scarves.
