2026 calendar zine (9 pics)

Back in the summer I told my friend I would make her a handmade calendar for 2026. For months I couldn’t decide on the theme and was intimidated by the size.

Fast forward to January, I was lurking the zine swap and felt really inspired. So instead of a full size calendar, I made my friend a 16-page Zine pocket calendar. I followed this booklet tutorial. I gave myself permission to just let creativity flow, marker on paper, go for it. This is the end result. It’s a little weird, doodle-y and more of an artistic experiment than a functional calendar  . It features a few double spreads including: wildflower themed, potato themed, and dog themed double spread . Enjoy!

Very creative! I love how expressive each page is. I laughed when I got to the page where you left off a number and just embraced the “mistake”. I would definitely carry that in my purse just because I think it is functional and funny and would be great to browse through just for a smile. Your friend is lucky to get this!

Thank you @megwell @Tapestry !

@AIMR thank you so much! I didn’t really plan it out at all and.. it resulted in really funny moments. Forgot the 1 and the days of the week on that one. This is all to practice being easier on myself and my creativity. I’m feeling really inspired by everyone’s work on LC :slightly_smiling_face: thank you for all that you do to keep it running.
