Back in the summer I told my friend I would make her a handmade calendar for 2026. For months I couldn’t decide on the theme and was intimidated by the size.
Fast forward to January, I was lurking the zine swap and felt really inspired. So instead of a full size calendar, I made my friend a 16-page Zine pocket calendar. I followed this booklet tutorial. I gave myself permission to just let creativity flow, marker on paper, go for it. This is the end result. It’s a little weird, doodle-y and more of an artistic experiment than a functional calendar . It features a few double spreads including: wildflower themed, potato themed, and dog themed double spread . Enjoy!
Too cute! The pages are so fun. I’m sure your friend loves it!

Very creative! I love how expressive each page is. I laughed when I got to the page where you left off a number and just embraced the “mistake”. I would definitely carry that in my purse just because I think it is functional and funny and would be great to browse through just for a smile. Your friend is lucky to get this!
@AIMR thank you so much! I didn’t really plan it out at all and.. it resulted in really funny moments. Forgot the 1 and the days of the week on that one. This is all to practice being easier on myself and my creativity. I’m feeling really inspired by everyone’s work on LC thank you for all that you do to keep it running.
