And it’s finally done, once I started to dream about slugs I had to get it finished. For this it was necessary to use some sea slugs to get the range of colours. But this is the finished painting.

Admittedly, I was very curious how you planned on doing slugs, but sea slugs worked out perfectly. That one looks like a piece of lettuce! It turned out very cool. What are you going to do with these now?
Honestly I’ve no idea. They will form part of my assessment for my college work this year. Next year is my final year, so they could potentially be hung in the degree show. Mostly I’m just happy to get them done!
They are all so weird & cool. How do you even come up with all these fantastical ideas! Super creative you 
I knew the slugs would be my favorite! The rainbow background somehow makes them less yucky than seeing them on my hostas!

LOVE! At first the yellow one was my favorite, as the Banana slug is my home state’s State Mollusk. But that little 90-degree red one tickles me!
Another fabulous painting. This whole series is fantastic and I love each one. Though I think the beetles are my favorite. The slugs have so much beautiful detail.
