I’ve been trying to focus on creating for the joy of it and not because I feel like I should, so right now I’m teetering somewhere between “saw online” and “just because” - and of course, those aren’t mutually exclusive! I’ll still stitch for holidays, but it’s a much more laid-back and enjoyable process; none of this sitting up until one in the morning on Christmas day just to finish.
Honestly? I find everyone on here inspiring even if I know I’ll never be able to/have the inclination to work with whatever technique/medium they are. I have a bunch of fun fabrics in my stash, and keep thinking I want to try a simple quilting project like Mistress Jennie’s scrappy mug rugs.
