I made this for my mom for Christmas- she picked out the fabrics from her stash and I cut and sewed it up. I only put one layer of batting, so it can’t be used as a potholder, but it’s thick enough to protect the table surface from a hot dish.

Thank you! And, once she picked out the fabrics, I cut the squares and then she arranged them, so not only do I know she liked the fabric, she liked the layout, too
