A Bear’s Point of View

2 years ago when we were in Alaska I wandered in to an adorable shop filled with quilting fabric, patterns, and yarn! My dream! Well, 2 years later I finally finished the wall hanging purchased many moons ago. It measures 14”X14” and don’t look too closely at the quilting lines or binding

This is wonderful. I’m wondering if the shop was called quilted raven or something in anchorage. This looks a lot like the vibe of that shop. I’ve been working my way through projects I got there. Almost had to leave my clothes to get all the fabric home.

The shop is called Fabulous Fiber Art in Ketchikan and there was another great store called Quilt Alaska in Skagway

Living in Florida I would’ve gladly left my winter woolins in Alaska to bring home more fabric!!!

Well, now you’ve given me two more reasons to go back! And Missouri this last week was definitely no prize in the heat index (Or maybe it was a prize winning week)…
