For some reason, I decided to try and be clever in this month’s Ongoing ATC Swap, and I’ve been experimenting with how I can use some teeny microbrads to make cards with moving parts.
I think the moving parts work decently, but I’m currently looking for recommendations on glue that works on thick toothy watercolor paper and can also survive traveling through the mail in an envelope.
First, I made this one for the theme “cat shenanigans.”
I also tried to make some little stop-motion videos before sending off. (Maybe a gif will work here…)
The next one’s theme was “my favorite extinct species,” so I made an 'Ō’ū, which is an endemic forest bird that used to be present across all major Hawaiian Islands but has not been seen since 1989 so has been added to the extinct list.
