On Tuesday I found these earrings in my favorite thrift store:
One earring broke in my hand as soon as I picked them up BUT that’s ok because I had plans for these babies…
I didn’t like the weirdness of the top and I don’t do post earrings because my poor ear lobes used to be stretched and while I managed to get them to shrink back down quite a bit they don’t play nice with most earrings. So then I grabbed some stainless steel wire and did this:
I like them so much better with your changes. The post part was bulky and distracting.
Agreed! (And thank you!) The weird beaded tassel thing was weird. I kept asking myself what it was supposed to be.
The remake is much better. I think that the part you removed would be annoying and distract from the “eyes”. Blue is a nice color on you.
