Some people asked how I use the bags for my clothes. I like getting my whole week’s clothes out on a Sunday night, rather than the night before or on the morning. I had been putting each day’s non-hanging clothes in a set of misc branded tote bags, but they weren’t pretty, and I wanted them to be cheerful.
I put the bags on my bed, check the planner and the weather forecast, then set out clothes for each day.
I put the hanging clothes in the wardrobe in day order, and then everything else goes into the corresponding day’s bag.
All the bags get stacked in this red Kallax crate, so they’re ready to go on the right day.

I’m on pattern version 4.5. The original pattern needed enlarging. Then I got narked with the zip adding bulk to the French seams at the top and bottom of the bag, so on the mush bag I added a strip of fabric at the top and bottom. I tweaked the size again for the teal birds bag, and now I can batch make the last three.
