Abstract Embroidery Hoop

I made this embroidery hoop for @Abbeeroad in the recent Use what your have swap. Since the swap called for using a small flat rate box the hoop is small, about 4-5” big.

There is acrylic paint, embroidery, buttons, beads, fabric, and some tulle. This was fun to make and I’m looking forward to making a larger hoop in the same fashion

I was inspired by this site I found on Abberoad’s Pinterest.

I love this style embroidery! Thanks for the inspo link…I may have a new obsession…

Love all the elements you used…this would be an epic swap project but would probably end up with no one wanting to send out what they made! You know it went to the perfect person…

I love how this turned out! So many fun elements.

I love how this piece is a mixture of your painterly embroidery and your assemblage works! I love the color and texture.

I think we might need an Abstract Embroidery Hoopla swap!
