Acrylic Paint Marker Piece

I picked up an acrylic paint marker set from the dollar store about a month ago and have been playing around with it and done a few pieces practicing how to use them.

It’s been a fun and interesting experience. I’m also now addicted to these things, but it’s been odd working with colours. It’s not something I’ve done a lot in the past year since getting back into drawing and painting.

I’m gonna keep doing it and see where it does.

Anyways I call it Melting of The Son.

Really nice linework and use of colors!! It makes me think that this is what an android’s dream would look like. Super cool.

I love this. It has a cool 3-D effect. Your lines are so perfect and everything is so neat. Amazing work!

It’s deceptively complex. The graphic nature of the linework defies all the details when you look closer. COOL!

Thanks @gozer and @TheMistressT

I’m tempted at getting it scanned and making a shirt… although I could try the cricut machine.

That’s awesome! Thank you very much.

It really does have a futuristic look. The hard lines of the graphics are softened by the pastel colors you used. Well done! I have enjoyed watching your art evolve. It would make for a fun t-shirt as well!

I so was thinking that too lol
And thank you very much. Honestly its been a year since i just started drawing pretty much. Im honestly happy with where ive gotten too, but i have to thank everyone here as well for that.

Its been inspiring to see everything everyone has done and the advice, help and kindness people have offered and encouragement thats been expressed and shown to me. I honestly might not be where im at now if it wasnt for everyone here. So thank you everyone. I appreciate it more then you know.

This is really cool and funky! I think making it into a shirt would be a great idea. PM me if you do and have extra. My son would totally rock this!

It’s really cool. The colors just pop off the page and it’s so interesting to view. I bet it’s even better in person!
It would be great to see on a shirt. Hmm, I’m wondering if you need to put a small signature next to it on a shirt? Maybe not. Your local library might be able to help you, depending on their resources and knowledge. My local system does not have a maker space, but the one in the next county does and they have helped me with projects. They even have a screen printing area, which I will hopefully use in the near future. Libraries can be pretty cool if staffed by passionate people.

I haven’t been to the new library here. It’s a ways away and I ain’t walking there = O

There’s a print shop by me and she does shirts, but also has knowledge of others places that do other shirts and printing. I was actually gonna call there when it opens to ask her how big she can scan. She kicks serious butt and has great prices.

Ooo, sounds like a great opportunity!

So she scanned it in a few sections and said she’d piece it together. I told her no rush either. Then on the way home I saw someone I knew and they said they’d love a piece of art, so I gave them the drawing and said merry Christmas. :+1:

Side note… I bought a long board for 20 dollars from an antique store and that’s gonna be my next piece lol
