Aestas Summer Top

This is my first wearable, aside from a couple of scarfs. I love this pattern and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would be. I worked on it for about a week a couple hours a day. I started a scarf originally, but decided to go with something she can wear right away. Plus she lives in GA and wouldn’t really get much use of a scarf

This is a gift for a dear friend of mine who is turning 50 later this month. We are meeting up on a Disney cruise to celebrate with a bunch of other ladies. This will be my first all ladies vacation.

I used this free pattern I found: Ravelry: Aestas Top pattern by Anna Erlandsson

That looks lovely, with the lace details! I bet your friend will be thrilled to receive it. Have fun on the vacay - sounds like a blast

Thank you!

I love how airy this is with all of the lacy parts, especially the sides. I haven’t made any actual clothing yet, but this looks like a fun one to try!

ETA: And, after looking at the pattern, I like your version better. I love that you added length and the lace detail on the hem!

Thanks! I just followed the same pattern that was used for the sides. I thought it finished it off nicely.
