Affirmation Cards for Pointe Class

I made these cards for my pointe class as this week is the last week of classes before their performance. This was my first time using the masterboard technique and everything was from my stash. They have my favorite Agnes de Mille quote (Ballet technique never becomes easy, it becomes possible) and an affirmation that I wished a teacher had told me at the being of my dance career (believe in yourself, you are enough). Hopefully my students will like them.

These are great! They look cool at a “distance” even without knowing what they say, but then when you do know… even more!

Awesome masterboard! And put to a great use.

Those are great! There’s so much texture and I love the colors.

I like the ransom-note journaling design, which is clipping letters and words and collaging them. Nice background design to, especially the black circles; not too many but just enough for accent. I’m looking forward to using the masterboard technique to design some backgrounds.

I am a big fan of masterboards and yours are nicely done! I love that your students are being encouraged in such a delightful way!
