Oops. Forgot my favorite candy. Hmmm. Depends on my mood but Swedish Fish are high on my list right now.
We have some senders so I went ahead and started the Gallery
Yay, gallery time!
And I crawled out of my rabbit hole and finished step one of the items. Step two is started and going well.
I do love crafting for Halloween!
Wow, I have been so busy, I have missed AAALLLL the check-in questions!
Favorite Halloween character: I like zombies and vampires, but I think the headless horseman is my favorite.
Dressing up this year: I’ll be in Oklahoma with the grandkids so if I do dress up it will be something super simple. My daughter wants my hubby and I to wear shirts that say Thing 1 and Thing 2, to go with some of her family costumes.
Favorite Halloween candy: anything chocolate. Honestly- if it’s chocolate, I’m in.
We’ve talked, I knew you hadn’t forgotten about the swap.
I received! Check out the gallery.
We had a few rainy and humid days, and the paint just would not dry! Back on track today.
We had a murder of crows fly across our backyard and pause in our trees today. And then they flew back the other way. Should I be worried?
Yes. Be scared.
I received! Pics in gallery!
Snickers are my favorite, but Reese’s PB cups are a close second.
I’m waiting on things to dry. Hopefully shipping Thur or Fri.
I’ll be shipping probably on the very last day, but I made good progress today. I opted to purchase a ______ because I really didn’t want to do it all with sheer elbow grease. Once it arrives that bit will go very swiftly and then I can get to the fun bits. I’ll be able to get some decent crafting days this week and this weekend to finish it all up.
All packaged up and ready to go. I have errands Monday or Tuesday so I can run by the postal office. Such fun.
Just checking in.
Goodness, I forgot the check-in question with all the activities I am doing right now.
Last check in, Are you decorating your house and/or office this year? If so, how?
I am decorating the bike shop for sure. I just need to find my box of holiday decor, it’s here somewhere… Oh, I do have a fake pumpkin with our logo/ dog’s silhouette carved into it! I can’t find a pic of that at the moment though. I’ll get it out and take a pic…
Yes, hoping to go shopping this weekend for more outdoor decorations for our house. As for my office, I usually do but I start a new job next Monday and will have to see what kind of set up I have and the atmosphere of the office as a whole. I can imagine some places frown on decorations. Although, I have never worked anywhere that didn’t allow decorations but better safe than sorry.
At the end of September I switch my curtains from teal to red for the winter. It gives the room a warmer feel and works for Halloween and Christmas. I switch them back after Valentine’s Day to the teal.
I already switched out my throw blankets for my pumpkin ones and I can finally live out my dream of snuggling in the chair, reading, with my Halloween Quilt!
I bring out the Chunky Houses and fill my mantle and windows. Creepy and cute dolls fly out to join the fun. The fall wreath with a spider-themed broken clock (set to midnight) in the center adorns the door. Purple and orange mini lights fill the windows. Some ceramic pumpkins (the black cat broke the large one) flicker on the hearth. And if I feel energetic, a couple of pumpkin headed ghosts take up residence in the front yard.
Love your collection of chucky houses!
