Altered dress with leopard print fabric and bows

I haven’t worked with knits in ages, it feels like, but this went quicker than I thought! I even used a new needle in the machine, the bobbin didn’t run out, and no pin injuries! This started as a basic Target dress that didn’t fit, and with something helpful suggestions, I had an idea! The belt was thrifted years ago, and is perfect for an 80s vibe.

I was glad to be able to use the fabric for something, and now I own something I can wear! I’m probably going to use my scraps for a scrunchie, and maybe a matching bow for my cat!

That is not what I was expecting from the description of “leopard print”! Such a cheerful fabric, tho-- nice choice!
