Avian Elegance

I bought a new 8 shaft loom in December and made this scarf as my first project. The pattern, Avian Elegance, is from Handwoven Spring 2024.

The black warp yarn is bamboo and the multi coloured weft yarn is a hand dyed 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon.

I’ll stick my selfie way down at the bottom for those that read the entire post

Weaving boggles my mind! The pattern looks so intricate and detailed.

It is lovely (as is your smiling face and new hair cut!). I love the colors…and so glad to see you getting right back into weaving after your move!

That pattern is stunning, it’s so intricate. With all that wool in it, I bet it’s really nice and soft and warm. It looks like you’re really happy with it, too
