Back in the saddle again

I’ve had this saddle for 20 years, and it survived my recent major purge of miniatures. That means it had to get a display instead of languishing in a box for another decade.

All from stash!

I did this cowboy shrine a few years ago, still loving guitars and lassos!

Impressive that it’s all from stash! I think the finial is my favorite part, it’s the perfect finishing detail!

Wow, cool tribute to cowboys! Where in the world did you get that little saddle? Glad to be able to contribute something to it.

Thanks!
I think I got the saddle in Tombstone, AZ. But it was a long time ago…

Such a cool little display! The wee saddle blanket especially tickles me.

Oh, WOW! This is so awesome! :star_struck: I think my dad would literally go bonkers if I made him something like this. He was a cowboy and got his first job as a ranch hand at age 13.

I did a second, similar tin shrine for a cowboy friend, and included three colorful gemstone nuggets because he had an epiphany in his youth when he found three colored rocks. It is fun to personalize shrines like that.
