Bamboo weave

And the second of the newest wraps that will be with their new homes this week.
This one was a bit of a challenge (in a good way)
The customer didn’t want wool, and we wanted a natural and eco-friendly fibre. So, we opted for bamboo. Weaving this one taught me a few things. Bamboo has very little give in it, so tension is very important. I did have to tweak the tension at the beginning a fair bit.
But it produced a beautiful drapey wrap that will be a treasure to wear. Warm and super soft.
Wet finishing has made a huge difference, too.
Made with @worldofwoolteam
Yarn in 4ply bamboo. On an ashford 24" RH with a 12.5dpi reed.

The colors are unusual and very pleasing! I love how the weave seems very textured but still remains soft and drapes well. Beautiful job!

Thank you x
