I know what basket I’m going to make, but I have to assess my supply options.

CHECK IN QUESTION

What is your favorite thing to store in a basket?

Yarn!

Probably fabric scraps.

Er, everything. I tend to stick everything and anything I find in a basket in an effort to make the house look tidier.

Everything.
By the door: Keys, change, pens, receipts, gift cards. Gloves.
Kitchen: Twist ties, intersting bottle caps, a cork or two, odd screws…where do they come from? Also a fruit basket, an onion and potato basket…
Living room: Pens, notes, nail file small scissors and all the pins, yarn needles, and such that get left behind. Some times an interesting rock or two. Yarn baskets.
Craftroom: Fabric scraps, yarn, just stuff!
Bedroom: Pocket contents, buttons

Um…I like baskets? Small , medium and large.

Add me to the baskets and other containers all over the house club. Everything feels less cluttered when it’s contained.

I like putting cool rocks in baskets, and also things I’m waiting for others to take upstairs. Ha!

Hmm… tricky one. Laundry baskets and the bread basket are most frequently in use. I had a too small fabric bread basket, so it’s been promoted to cat toy basket.

I like the look of yarn in baskets, but I get nervous about yarn eating critters

Hm… I might have to start over. This yarn + pattern combo is not great so far. The pattern is not the best written one, and I’m not sure if my modifications made it worse or better at this point

I have started to build the creative mess for this basket. Sometimes you just need to pull stuff out of stash, spread it all around, make your decisions, and then use 10% or less of the mess.

That’s exactly how I feel! One must make a mess to get it all figured out sometimes!

I’d say whatever I can’t find a home for elsewhere. Baskets in my world are just like junk drawers.

Ok. Officially in the process…I have made a big mess! But it is fun, messy and moving along.
