Sigh. I love my rural community but the downside is sometimes services just aren’t open the hours you expect. I’ll have to ship on Monday. We stopped by in between my meetings and our town’s tiny post office apparently closes every day from noon until 2:30. Heh.

Took a trip to the fabric store today (so glad to have this swap as an excuse) and finished my basket! Woot! Now just have to figure out the extra(s) and I’ll be ready. Hoping for a Monday send.

It’s a quilt shop! They had a quilt on the long arm while I was there. It’s also where I take my machine for yearly maintenance. Their selection is small but I somehow always manage to find six FQs to fill their “buy 5 get one free” deal. I don’t go very often.

Doing good! Did the scary step and finishing touches on the basket and it looks great. Now I just hope it’ll dry in time for send outs. It might take a few days…
