It IS?! I am terrible at this FMQ, if there’s an easy one I am gung-ho to try again because I love it and so want to be better than terrible at it.

i’m doing that and a paisley feather flower thingy on a baby quilt right now (i’ll post when i’m finished) - the pebbles are a lot easier for me.
i’m about to start a hand quilting project and i feel more comfortable with that because i don’t get as anxious because it’s slower. lol

Pebbles is definitely a beginner-friendly pattern. I also think paisley echoes and star echoes aren’t too difficult and pretty forgiving.
Are you familiar with Leah Day? She has hundreds of videos on how to do different FMQ designs.
