I have seen a few pouches like this on Pinterest and wanted to give it a go. I honestly didn’t want to look through a bunch of blogs to get a tutorial so I actually made my own pattern. It’s a first for me! I don’t normally use patterns because I cannot follow them for the life of me
But here is my cassette pouch that I made. It was really fun and I would like to make more.

It looks great! I’m impressed with your stitched on words and the buttons work great for that tape look!

You can never have enough pouches! You did a good job making your own pattern…sometimes you just have to follow what makes sense in your own head.

Very cute! I made a zip pouch with an audio cassette a few years ago. Still use it.

So cute! One could have a lot of fun coming up with titles for their mix tapes!

Ooo! I’ve been wanting to try this too, but was intimidated by the piecing. Love that you just made it your own way!

The piercing wasn’t too bad because it was straight lines and you don’t have to worry about any angles. You should go for it!
