My DIL is aaaaaallll about pineapples. There’s a little saying about them that I’d never heard before I met her, and I think it really suits her: “Be Sweet, Stand Tall, And Wear A Crown.” She’s sweet and lovely and strong and I love her.
This was done with watercolor resist (really tricky at this scale) and uses metallic watercolor.
What an interesting technique… and a very attractive result! What do you use for the resist part? Is it like the clear/white crayon that comes with some Easter-egg-dying kits?
