I made these cat drawings (ink and watercolor) some 23 years ago.
I’m reviving them for my Blog, since hardly anyone got to see my art back in those days.
I had befriended a lovely old man (91), who had published several books in the past and was now going to publish his collection of cat poems.
He asked me to perhaps illustrate them, but he died before he was able to publish the book.
I hope you like them.
These are really good! They really capture the motions of a cat. It’s a shame your friend never had his book published, but I’m glad we get to see them now.

What a sad story. The cat images are lovely.
These are so sweet & lively, captured the essence of cat.
I rather like the story as well, an older creative person still working on projects, collaborating & being active in their art with something in the works right to the end. Nicer idea than having nothing to look forward to. And 91! Woo!
