Can’t wait to see the tape you make! That is not the technique I use. The way her seams are looks the same, so it’s similar, but a lot less fussy. This video probably yields a more precise tape, but also looks like a lot more time and effort - maybe close to double. Possibly worth it for the precision, depending on one’s inclinations and the final use.
