I needed a simple yarny pursuit to ease the mind and the shelves of the stash cabinet so I picked up the Vanna’s and worked this square up for donation. It’s about 34" square and just right to fall over a lap. I liked the minty color, it felt cheerful to me.

I even won yarn chicken with this much left of the two:

I also really like that the pattern isn’t regular, but a bit random. A pattern that’s very regular can get boring.

Very nice!

I like the edging, I have a great niece and nephew that are special needs and like tactile things so their gramma made their blankets with edging like this for them to play with. I think an older person would benefit the same from it.
