Bird skull mask

Took the kid to Anthro New England and decided to assemble a quick little costume to wear.

Made the bird skull from EVA foam, using a pattern by Mugiwara Cosplay.

I primed it with modge podge, then painted with white acrylic paint, and weathered it to look like a skull that’s been sitting in the woods for a bit.

I had a lot of fun wearing it.

That skull is so darn impressive! I love the way you aged it both in coloring and cracks and the tiny bits of moss are superbly done!

This is so cool! I especially love the touches of green algae. It ages the skull perfectly.
