My niece’s first baby will be born soon.
Amongst other gifts I made them a set of two of these birthday buntings.
There’s only one in the picture, but they are identical.
The extra long straps can be cut to their desired lengths.
They match the baby blanket I posted before.

I love these! I’ve had a project like this on my to make list for the past 2 years now and just havent gotten my act together. Great fabrics and I love that it matches the bedding set.

I made similar buntings for our own home and we use them every year with our birthdays. Even now that our kids live on their own!
(Which reminds me… I should make them their own sets… They might like that.)
I love that tradition! I made a bunting for my dog’s first birthday that says “celebrate” with one letter appliqued on each flag and I bring it out for various celebrations, too! When TheMisterT has a new book come out, for my 40 th& 50th, for his 40th, etc.
