Black Bean Brownies

There’s this guy I come across often while watching youtube that tries strange foods he sees others make, and I’ve been wanting to try several of them. Welp, I had to get trash bags, and I can’t help myself from window shopping the baking aisle, and it just popped in my head, heh.

Anyway, the main reason I wanted to try this, is I get sugar cravings, but I still don’t want that much sugar. So I made a wild assumption that the beans would keep this from being that sugary. Which, it doesn’t seem to be that bad (Give or take my erratic tastes, :man_shrugging:t3:, heh).

Granted, it looks like my oven didn’t cook it all the way through, but..erm…I do like a gooey brownie, so I’m not crying heh heh heh.

I used one can of black beans (Drained and rinsed). Used my smoothie mixer to blend them smooth with a little water (About 2/3’s cup), then added in only the egg and sunflower oil (You know, I’ve gotten so used to using sunflower oil that I can’t really go without it, heh). Then mixed it all together and baked it.

It is a little cakey in the parts that cooked, but meh, it’s still pretty tasty. I could do this. I’d be happy with this. Heh!

There are actually recipes out there for brownies that are made with beans, and I’ve had them many times. They taste no different to me but I bet they are much healthier!

That’s the other reason I wanted to try them. I’m always curious about healthy desserts, heh. Got some more black beans, dried this time. I’m going to make a black bean sweet paste,, Gingery and cinnomonomonomony.
