Boo-tiful Bag

What started out as doing a few little cross stitch projects for Halloween turned into a much bigger project! Isn’t that often the case with many of us?

I am always looking for ways to use my stitching pieces other than framing them, so I decided to make them into drawstring bags.

I found a very easy tutorial, but of course, I made things more complicated by

  1. making a frame around my little ghost stitching

  2. using several fabrics from stash

  3. lining the bag

I also used this new fusible interfacing that I saw used in a YouTube video, and I must say, I am in love with this flexible, lightweight and versatile product!

It was a fun project, and as you can see, there is another little ghost waiting to be used. Hopefully, the next project will go more quickly!

Thanks for looking!

I think they’re great! I like how the ghost are off center and the fabrics are an excellent choice :ok_hand:
