I love to read. I track all my books on Goodreads, and I like to know how many I have read.
I found this pattern for a woodcutting and had my mom’s neighbor cut it for me. I am still debating if I need a laser cutter for myself, and the yeses are winning.
I painted the cat orange in honor of my youngest, Murray, who turned one on July 29th.
That’s adorable! What a great way to keep track all year!
As for a laser cutter, have you checked your library, or nearby libraries? Ours built a new Maker Space, which includes a few Glow Forges, sewing machines, Cricuts, recording booths, etc. They also buy the supplies wholesale, and sell it to the public at those rates, even if you are just buying a little bit. You can bring in designs on a thumb drive, and use the machines, or you can book a librarian to help you as you learn. I like my Silhouette, but if I had the opportunity to just use the Library’s cutter at the time, I probably wouldn’t have bought one myself, as it does take up a lot of desk space.
