@MiaMaria , what a fun swap package!
Nice job
I received from @Nightlight !
She went with my Victorian theme-apparently granny squares originated in that time! Wow, who knew?
She crocheted it using embroidery floss! ![]()
It’s so pretty and delicate!
Thank you, I love it!
Got this lovely gothy one from @Wildblue which I strongly suspect my daughter is going to steal the moment she sees it. ![]()
This is way cool!
Yay! So glad it made it and that you like it:)
@Nightlight, the mini granny squares are cute!!
And @Wildblue , love the phrase and the use of newsprint! Cool ~
@Nightlight the tiny granny squares are very impressive! Nicely done!
And @Wildblue - the sentiment on yours is great - and newsprint ghosts! Sparkle bats! What’s not to love? Also like the elastic band style on the crocheted birdie.
@MiaMaria the layers on yours are so pretty! And the coordination with the card ![]()
@Bunny1kenobi the birds are so cute! Watercolor?
@jeanneleigh yes, I’ve been dabbling in watercolors lately.
Double bookmark mail for me today! ![]()
From @geekgirl card and opossum:
Very cute and hanging on with all it’s might!
From @MiaMaria - a lovely matching ocean themed card and bookmark
And an up close of the happiest little octopus
Love the colors and the fiber! Thanks so much, swap partners! ![]()
@Bunny1kenobi and I did a private swap, and we agreed to share our bookmarks in the gallery. Here’s the beautiful bookmark I received today; it had a lovely message on the back.
Thank you so much; I love it!
I’m so glad you like your bookmark, @LindyBlues !
It’s also so very appropriate because I love dandelions ![]()
Beautiful and thoughtful bookmark, @Bunny1kenobi.
And happy birthday to you- I hope your day is full of all things you love! (And snacks!) ![]()
I received from @geekgirl ! A very sweet and colorful parrot bookmark. It’s already found its way between the pages of my current book.
Thank you!
Ooh, that is a great parrot!
I also love the ocean set- the way they are extensions of each other.
The possum is well done, too! Your drawing skills are awesome, @geekgirl !
This gallery is so beautiful, I love everything. My partner @kayrun sent this adorable mushroom corner bookmark that is just so perfect. I love the way it fits over the corner of the page, and the cute tiny snail below it. Thanks so much, Kayrun
Cute mushroom!!
Fun mushroom! I haven’t seen that shape for a corner bookmark.
Lovely animal theme from geekgirl! And I guess the cute octopus counts as an animal too.
I like the dandelion one too. The paint splatter seed floof (what’s it called?) works perfectly.
Thanks! Seed floof sounds good to me!! ![]()
I got my last bookmark last night after work and it definitely helped cheer me up.
@thanate sent a beautiful piece of medieval marginalia (and an extra moth sticker)
It was a long day and so an excited yet exhausted me set it aside to take pictures in the morning, and I didn’t even notice there were multiple screaming snails hand doodled on the back
(Fun fact, i had sketched out a different bookmark for thanate that wasn’t finished because i didn’t like the makers i was using, and it was a snail… maybe I’ll finish it or redo it someday.)
Thank you so much Thanate!
