Scavenger hunts. What about sending a nice handwritten/illustrated scavenger hunt for 10 different things for your partner to find where they live? The exchange could end there, or you could send back the completed hunt to each other.

Photograph prints!
“Surprise single-stamp envelope” - make whatever will fit in an envelope to reach the maxium amount of weight allowed for a single stamp.
What about a swap based on a craft item that we all have? For example, a Creative Crayon Swap where you have to use a crayon in your craft as creatively as possible. Or another random object like a Spoon or Red Solo cup.
Flat stuff is great! Here’s a few swaps I’d enjoy, off the top of my head:-

Favourite artist / artwork (either incorporating a homage to the work, or being inspired by colours, quotes)

Bingo swap - Swapgo? - just sparked by the recent chat about playing bingo with WIPs - would it work to have a swap where there was a bingo card of theme words, and the swap package had to complete one line of the bingo in some way? (e.g. 5 extra smalls, one for each word; or a medium and small that combined 2 or 3 of the words each.) I’m thinking fun and left field ideas like the L&C swap, possibly crafted ahead, not too big or stressful.
I have joined some ATCs swaps elsewhere that do a Tic-Tac-Toe theme. So instead of a 5 by 5 grid it’s a 3 by 3 grid. but same concept. you pick one row or column (or diagonal) and craft to those words/themes. Might be more manageable than 5?
I would super enjoy an anime/manga swap! I organized one on Craftster years ago.
Positive affirmations was one I would like to do as well.
Embroidery Hoops in general
I also like the idea of an “admiration” craft. Like your partner crafts something for you in a medium that you really admire, but don’t do yourself. (Or maybe you do )
Someone also mentioned a swap inspired by certain artists. That would be fun!
I love the make a bag swap!
I would love to see bigger swaps in general. I haven’t seen much, though it’s certainly understandable with postage being what it is.
Try Something New Swap- you craft something that you don’t have a lot of confidence in or something you’ve been wanting to try, but haven’t.
Would anyone be interested in a basket swap? I think those fabric baskets are so cute and handy. I am sure there are ways to make them in other mediums, too.
