Several years ago, we did GISHWHES and for one of the activities, she instigated and made all of the arrangements for us to deliver bread from a local bakery, to a women’s shelter, on a weekly basis. This was an activity that we continued long after the GISHWHES event was over- until she moved out of town and my work schedule would no longer allow me to continue. I miss doing that with her and it will always be among my most cherished memories.
