Bright Tassels

My partner in the Easter Egg swap asked for some tassels and said she liked bright colors, so I made these.

The trio were inspired by a Pinterest photo. (I tried, but could not identify the original crafter.) These were so much fun to make! I bought the yarn/thread at my local craft reuse store. I think it may be the kind often used for punch needle projects. (?) There are 3 sizes and I keep thinking of them as a family: Daddy tassel, Mommy tassel, and Baby tassel.

The other tassel I almost didn’t send. It is HUGE! (At least 4 inches.) But my swap partner mentioned using any materials to make the tassels, so I wondered is she really wanted a tassel with a variety of components. So I sent it as well.

Hope she liked them!

I thought nothing could beat that trio, then I saw the mixed media one and :exploding_head:. I don’t think I can pick my favourite!

Fantastic! The trio look like hula dancers.
Did you weave/knot the big one? Looks great.

Thanks everyone! Yes, the top of the ribbon one is interwoven/knotted.

Also from Pinterest:

Then I layered some thread on top of a ribbon to tie it all up.

These are all colorful and fun, but that second one is super neat with the variety of fibers!
