Growing up, my mom had a brown plaid quilted blanket that my sister and I both loved. I ended up designing that as an overlay mosaic blanket (I hate changing colors so much, which is why I love overlay mosaic as much as I do. One color per row is the best), and finished it a few days ago. Here’s the front:
I like that extra line that appears on the back of the blanket. It adds a little more personality.
This one is pretty heavy and would be a wonderfully warm blanket to snuggle under on a cold day (it’s been so hot here, it feels like it will never be cold again!). But the colors feel perfect for fall, and I’m looking forward to my sweater weather.
