Such a wonderful pattern! Very clear instructions. Matching gauge is very important unless you want a slouch hat. When stitching on the face and weaving the almond colour in pattern, please look at pictures as it clarifies how to do the 3 D effect. At least for me, it did. Please practice the Double Twist Fringe edging. I had a hard time figuring it out. (Maybe tired.) I did finally get it though and the tie around the neck looks great!
